JOIN OR RENEW

VOLUNTEER

As a community-based nonprofit organization, Greenwich Land Trust has always relied heavily upon the support of volunteers to achieve its land conservation mission. Contact Dan Brubaker, dan@gltrust.org  for internship and volunteer opportunities.

GREENHOUSE & GARDEN

Join us at the Mueller Preserve for a volunteer session of learning and lending your helping hands. Assist GLT Staff with planting seeds in the greenhouse and tending the garden. No experience necessary, but green thumbs are always welcome.

VOLUNTEER STEWARDS

Greenwich Land Trust relies on a dedicated group of volunteer stewards to help monitor over 82 preserves. Stewards are assigned one or more properties, which they often retain year after year, getting to know each one of them. Stewards actively inspect properties, helping to protect natural communities found on these valued open-space parcels.

SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

Greenwich Land Trust hosts two special event fundraisers each year - An Evening at the Farmstead in early summer and Go Wild! in the middle of October. Our special event committees for each event assist with general preparation, invitation mailings, spread the world, and day of set-up and clean-up.  If you are interested in joining a special event committee, email lisa@gltrust.org for more information

CORPORATE OUTINGS

Greenwich Land Trust offers employee engagement opportunities including on-site volunteer projects as well as partner events, workshops, or programs. For more information, email will@gltrust.org

WAYS TO GIVE

Donating land for conservation purposes is truly one of the finest legacies a person can leave to future generations. Along with protecting scenic views and important natural resources, these landowners are guaranteed that their property will be protected in perpetuity and will never be developed.

EVERGREEN SOCIETY

The Evergreen Society is the planned giving program of Greenwich Land Trust. It is an established formal program to recognize and honor all those who have chosen to support Greenwich Land Trust through their estate planning.
