GET INVOLVED

Become a Member

As a Member of Greenwich Land Trust, you’ll join us for an exciting year of learning. With free or discounted admission to dozens of educational programs, workshops, and lectures, there will be something for every age and interest!

Annual Memberships are valid from April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024. Each level of Membership provides opportunities to enjoy and experience the land we protect through special invitations to participate in Member-only events including GLT’s Annual Meeting in December; discounted member rates for select programs, events, and GLT merchandise; and first-to-know updates about GLT happenings.

However you choose to participate, Greenwich Land Trust Members stand with other community leaders working to ensure Greenwich’s open space is cared for and conserved for generations to come.

VOLUNTEER

As a community-based nonprofit organization, Greenwich Land Trust has always relied heavily upon the support of volunteers to achieve its land conservation mission. Contact Dan Brubaker, dan@gltrust.org  for internship and volunteer opportunities.

Greenhouse & Garden

Greenhouse & Garden

Greenhouse & Garden: Join us at the Mueller Preserve for a volunteer session of learning and lending your helping hands. Assist GLT staff with planting seeds in the greenhouse and tending the garden. No experience necessary, but green thumbs are always welcome!

Volunteer Stewards

Volunteer Stewards

Greenwich Land Trust relies on a dedicated group of volunteer stewards to help monitor over 80 preserves. Stewards are assigned one or more properties, which they often retain year after year, getting to know each one of them. Stewards actively inspect properties, helping to protect the natural communities found on these valued open-space parcels. Click here for more details.

Special Events Committee

Special Events Committee

Greenwich Land Trust hosts two special event fundraisers each year – An Evening at the Farmstead in early summer and Go Wild! in the middle of October. Our special event committees for each event assist with general preparation, invitation mailings, spreading the word, and day of set-up and clean-up. If you are interested in joining a special event committee, email lisa@gltrust.org for more information.
