Due to colder than normal temperatures and snow cover, this Spring Walk has been cancelled. Please check back for new Spring Walks. As we move between winter and spring, vernal pools develop and provide sanctuaries full of life in our woods. Join Conservation Educator, Dean Fausel, on an early spring walk where you will get a peek at these lively spots before they dry up as the warm weather moves in.

Native Bee Box Workshop

Symphony in the Swamp

Ephemeral woodland flowers emerge in the early spring as if by magic. Learn how to capture their short-lived beauty with photography! Join Conservation and Outreach Director, Steve Conaway, PhD for a tour of the Sargent-Gildersleeve-Stone Preserve. Basic lighting and camera techniques will be described for botanical photography.
