Native Meadow Workshop
Visit GLT’s newly restored Ross Meadow at our Converse Brook Preserve to learn how to create a meadow using native grasses and wildflowers. We’ll talk about some of the different options, depending on your situation, and use the Ross Meadow as a reference for some of the challenges that people usually face during the process. We’ll cover site preperation, including what to do about invasive plants, seed/plant sourcing, as well as implemenation and early maintainance. Given time, we can also look at any individual situations that attendees have questions about. The program will be lead by Dan Brubaker, GLT’s Director of Conservation and Outreach. es.
