50th Anniversary Celebration

Fifty years ago, a group of Greenwich residents recognized something that remains just as important today: the character of a community is shaped by not only its homes, roads and buildings, but by the natural places that surround them.

As we celebrate 50 years of protecting and stewarding Greenwich’s forests, wetlands, and open spaces, we will recognize this important milestone with a proclamation by First Selectman Fred Camillo, a time capsule and tree planting ceremony with our Board of Directors, followed by a champagne toast and light refreshments.
