We Need You!
As a community-based nonprofit organization, Greenwich Land Trust has always relied heavily upon the support of volunteers to achieve its land conservation mission. We are always looking for volunteers with a science background to help on a variety of educational projects with adults and children. Click here to see upcoming volunteer sessions.

On the Land
Seed-to-Seed Initiative: Seed-to-Seed is a community-based initiative dedicated to restoring native plants to the local landscape through community outreach, plant propagation, and habitat restoration. Join us this winter and spring as we begin to grow native plants from GLT preserve seeds for 2018 ecological restoration projects.
Preserve Improvement Projects and Inspections: Join our stewardship staff and volunteers to organize, plan and carry out maintenance and restoration projects. Both ongoing and on-time projects are available. Assist with monitoring of GLT preserves or conservation easements by staff and volunteers. Inspections of each property take place at least annually. Contact email@example.com
Photographer/Videographer: Attend and photograph GLT outings, events, and properties. Organize a photograph collection of our preserves to help communicate the purpose and value of our work. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Outreach Events: Conduct or help GLT staff with educational activities throughout the year. GLT seeks expertise in geology, botany, wetlands, salt marshes, forestry, and environmental sciences to help with program planning and delivery.
