Updates from GLT’s American Chestnut Orchard

GLT and Greenwich Tree Conservancy are partnering to host a special program at GLT’s American Chestnut Sanctuary. Guests will explore the test orchard and learn about the most recent efforts to restore blight resistant American Chestnuts back into the wild. They will also get a first hand view of what a blight infection can look like, what can be done for infected trees, and what the expectations are for the orchard over the next 5 or 10 years.

An email will be sent to registered participants regarding where to meet.

Please dress appropriately to be outside in November.
