Join us for a tree identification hike and tree planting to celebrate Arbor Day. We will begin our forest exploration by planting a white oak to mark the second year of this enchanted 80 acres preserve and the effort made to its acquisition.
Dr. Gregory Kramer, Parks and Recreation and Dan Brubaker, Greenwich Land Trust will lead the hike focused on tree identification and their value to wildlife. Attendees will also gain knowledge about woodland invasive species and challenges facing our local forest. An easy walk and a perfect way to engage with nature.
