Spring Walk: Pondering Ponds

  Take a short walk around two ponds of the Old Stone Bridge Preserve where participants will sample water for signs of amphibian, fish, and insect life. Conservation Educator, Dean Fausel will teach attendees about the vital habitat and ecological services provided by the ponds of Greenwich. There will also be a red-tailed hawk release by our friends at Wildlife in Crisis. Appropriate for all ages. Waterproof shoes recommended. $5 materials fee per family to be paid on-site. Botanical Art Class: Early Spring Bloomers

Learn to draw with botanical artist, Jeanne Reiner! Students will select plants from Greenwich Land Trust’s Mueller Preserve to enjoy informative, hands-on instruction on techniques for capturing the beauty of early spring.
